Types of Connectivity we can provide
We can provide pretty much any connection, from 4G and 5G to a Dedicated Leased Line and everything inbetween. Here's an idea of the ones we typically install for our clients.
Dedicated Leased Line
FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet)
Typically used as failover if something happens to your main line, we can provide a wide-range of mobile data solutions.
If you need a line dedicated to your organisation, with high speeds and bandwidth, this is the way to go.
A cheaper alternative to a Leased Line which gives you high speeds whilst utilising a standard telephone line.
Not too dissimilar to FTTC but the speeds are often capped at around 25mbps. The price difference isn't that big, but you can still save money if you don't need the speeds of FTTC.
How long will it take to switch to Cloud4 from my current provider?
Every migration is different - the beauty of working in IT, right!?
A switchover typically takes a maximum of 2 weeks from the time of contacting us but a lot depends on your existing provider, service and contract terms.
How do I migrate to your Broadband services?
It depends on your current service and the service you're migrating to.
Rest assured that your Dedicated Migration Manager will discuss this with you thoroughly and agree a plan which works for you. Once a plan is agreed, you can sit back and let us proceed with the migration, we'll keep you in the loop throughout the process.
What speeds can I expect?
Speeds are all dependent on which solution you choose and the location of where the line is installed. When quoting, we will always give you an indicaton on the speeds you can expect beforehand so you know exactly what you're signing up for.
What are the contract terms?
Due to the nature of Broadband and having to deal with different carriers, the contract terms vary across different services. We promise to always give you the shortest term contract available - or the longest - whichever suits you, we'll let you make that choice.
